Wake steering at scale: real results from a commercial wind farm

Wake steering is widely discussed in wind energy but rarely demonstrated at scale on commercial sites. This poster shares results from RES’ first full wake steering trial on a 21-turbine commercial wind farm, using our Dynamic Yaw product to target a 1% AEP uplift.
The trial ran from late 2025 using a toggle-based methodology and RES’ own controller technology with no third-party hardware or individual turbine modifications required. Uplift values of up to 2.5% were measured on some turbine pairs, with a preliminary farm-wide uplift of 0.6% validated using the open-source RES WindUp methodology and ground LiDAR.
