Breaking Down Data Barriers: OEM-Agnostic Access to Wind Turbine Controllers
Finding an OEM-agnostic way to communicate with wind turbine controllers enables asset owners and operators to unlock the full value of their operational data. By accessing high-frequency turbine data – up to 50 times more granular than conventional SCADA systems – operators gain deeper visibility into turbine performance and operating conditions. Combined with advanced analytics and physics-based models, this data provides actionable insights into the health and performance of critical components such as pitch systems, yaw systems, and generators, supporting predictive maintenance and improved reliability. Direct access to turbine controllers also enables more effective troubleshooting and optimization of operating parameters, helping maximize energy production, reduce downtime, and enhance overall asset performance.
