Contact usThe Position
The Asset Manager will oversee a number of Renewable Energy assets in the RES Australia portfolio (Wind, Solar PV or Storage) on behalf of RES’s clients, ensuring adherence to practice for safety, compliance, quality and environmental performance, whilst maximizing revenue and enhancing community and stakeholder engagement through the project lifecycle. Particular emphasis is placed on management of contractual obligations on behalf of RES’s clients. The Asset Manager will look for ways to improve the value of the asset.
The role will manage the relationship with the client and be the key point of contact and ensure that variations and proposals for additional services are promptly raised with the client.
The Asset Manager will be the focal point for the project throughout the operational lifecycle and will be completely responsible for the day-to-day management of the asset, including management of the O&M contractor.
This role will promote and enhance the asset performance and shall be a highly visible role within RES and in the wider community.
The Asset Manager will also be responsible for the management of project budgets and asset operating / business plans.
The Asset Manager will procure support for all activities related to the respective project from a dedicated team allocated to the project. Line management of team members where appropriate and 3rd party contractors and consultants as required. The Asset Manager will be responsible for ensuring that RES resources are deployed efficiently.

Experience | Qualifications |
· At least 3 years’ experience in Asset Management roles, managing complex projects from initial operations phase · Managing client relationships · Familiarity with commercial aspect of renewable energy operations · Budget preparation and management · Business planning · Familiarity with engineering and concepts as they relate to renewable energy operations · Extensive contracts management

· Familiarity with the National Energy Market · Graduate Engineering, Science. Business/Law, Finance or other related degree · Master’s degree in any of the above would be an advantage
