“At TRIG, we are committed to fostering a responsible and inclusive working environment across our diverse portfolio. Partnering with RES to introduce sustainable period care solutions on-site has been a key step in enhancing welfare provisions for those working in remote locations. By implementing this initiative, we are not only improving the day-to-day experience for our workforce but also reinforcing our dedication to strong ESG performance, and we are pleased to work with RES to drive meaningful change.”

Chris Sweetman, Chief Operating Officer at TRIG

“We’re proud to work with partners like RES who understand that creating an inclusive culture starts with just doing the right thing. Providing accessible period care on renewable energy sites may seem like a small step, but it sends a powerful message about equity and care in the workplace.”

Margot Smith, ESG Manager at Octopus Energy Generation

Working in remote environments presents unique challenges, especially when it comes to welfare and access to basic facilities. By introducing accessible period products on-site, we’re not only supporting the well-being of our teams but also sending a clear message that inclusion matters – whoever you are and wherever you work. I’m proud RES are taking practical steps to remove barriers to our growing workforce where possible, one step at a time.

Meaningful community engagement is not just about communicating the vision and numbers of a project with locals – it is about action. That is what creates trust and engagement. Listening to communities to design this scheme, we are proud to have been the first company to offer and deliver the LEDS giving those hosting a project a direct, tangible discount on their electricity bill.

A circular economy in action

Our flagship repair facility in Albacete, Spain, plays a central role in our sustainability efforts, reducing emissions and giving components a second life for both RES-managed and external assets.

Circular thinking also shapes our Albacete warehouse, where we’ve introduced measures like repurposing cardboard for packaging, switching to LED lighting, and using reusable cleaning cloths.

6,000 items

in 2024, we repaired 6,000 items, doubling the amount of the repairs in the previous year.

18,000 components

using advanced tools like 3D scanning for reverse engineering, the facility has repaired more than 18,000 mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic components to date.
