We’re delivering fast local response, predictive maintenance, minor and large corrective maintenance and regulatory ready operations to support long-term performance across remote assets in Brazil and Latin America.

The challenge 

Delivering high standard operations and maintenance (O&M) services across vast and diverse geographies, such as those found in Latin America, requires navigating significant operational and logistical complexities. One long-term customer manages a large multi-OEM wind portfolio spanning several regions of Brazil, presenting a unique set of challenges:

  • Operational complexity and scale across a significant number of turbines in multiple subregions
  • Remote locations requiring rapid, reliable local response
  • Region specific operational risks including limited access routes, harsh weather conditions and transmission constraints
  • Evolving regulatory requirements from IBAMA and ANEEL
  • The need for data transparency, predictive insights and long-term asset reliability
  • A demand for flexible, independent O&M partners who can adapt to operational realities

Following an initial contracted O&M period, our customer sought assurance that RES could continue to meet high performance expectations, uphold industry leading safety standards and optimise their growing portfolio.

With more than 14 years of experience in the Brazilian market, our locally embedded field teams ensure fast mobilisation, integrated spare parts and operational continuity delivering day-to-day service excellence and long-term stability.

RES’ independent O&M model provides cross-OEM proficiency across Brazil’s major turbine manufacturers. This allowed us to design tailored preventive maintenance strategies that optimise asset performance beyond OEM warranty periods.

Applying advanced cutting-edge innovative digital solutions, including SCADA analytics, predictive monitoring monitoring and fault diagnostics we provided our customer with full visibility and early insight into emerging issues. This predictive approach improves long-term yield, increases uptime and extends asset life.  

4. Strong compliance understanding and governance support 

Our structured, centralised reporting, strong safety culture and regulatory alignment ensured that our customer consistently met Brazil’s evolving IBAMA, local Environment Agencies and ANEEL requirements, reducing compliance burden and operational risk.
