This follows a period of successful delivery and collaboration with the fund management team within Octopus Energy Generation, who are one of Europe\u2019s largest investors in renewable energy. In total RES will now deliver services for 60 solar farms in this portfolio sized at 385MW, located in the UK.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">As part of the long-term contracts, RES will manage High Voltage services in-house, in addition to providing an enhanced spare parts management service and <\/span>standalone \u2018specialist inverter defect rectification services\u2019 on several solar farms in the non-RES part of the Octopus portfolio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;\">RES now provides O&amp;M services on nearly half of Octopus\u2019 UK solar portfolio and has helped further improve the performance of the portfolio since the partnership began.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color: #242424;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color: #242424;\">In addition, RES has rolled out a programme of cyber security upgrades and reliability engineering studies. <\/span><span style=\"color: #242424;\">RES is also supporting <\/span><span style=\"color: #242424;\">Octopus with their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) goals around biodiversity in particular, including the facilitation around the delivery of a programme of biodiversity studies and subsequent biodiversity enhancements<\/span><span style=\"color: #242424;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;\">RES will <span style=\"color: #242424;\">deploy the broad range of skills and expertise developed over 40 years of operations to add further value to this portfolio. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;\"><span style=\"color: black;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"color: black;\">Brian Darnell, <\/span>Head of Solar &amp; Storage O&amp;M, UK&amp;I<span style=\"color: black;\"> at RES, said: <\/span><\/strong><em><span style=\"color: black;\">\u201cWe\u2019ve been working with the Octopus <\/span><\/em><em><span style=\"color: black;\">team for a number of years now and we\u2019re delighted that we are nearing completion of migration to long-term contracts, which is testament to the partnership we have built. <\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;\"><em><span style=\"color: black;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;\"><em><span style=\"color: black;\">\u201cOur expertise in O&amp;M means we can confidently continue delivering safety and innovation in equal measure as we embed the 60 solar farms into our portfolio.
