The project is located in New South Wales, Australia and is RES\u2019 largest ever solar development with generating capacity standing at 245 MW dc \/ 190 MW ac.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">When operational, 450,000 solar panels, mounted on single axis tracking system will generate electricity to meet the needs of around 80,000 New South Wales homes. This will avoid over 157,000 tonnes of carbon each year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">The project is now ready to go into construction, f<span style=\"color: black; background: white;\">ollowing <\/span>several years <span style=\"color: black; background: white;\">of environmental surveys and extensive community consultation which received strong local support. The project received planning consent from the NSW Department of Planning, Industry &amp; Environment in<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; line-height: 107%; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif; color: black; background: white;\"> August 2019. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Lumea will deliver the grid connection services for the life of the project with construction expected to commence later this year, and energisation expected before the end of 2022.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 8pt; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Matt Rebbeck, RES\u2019 CEO in Australia commented, \u201cWe are very pleased to continue our strong global relationship with Iberdrola and are excited to see the project progress with them.
