P\u00e5 de 1 300 anl\u00e4ggningar vi st\u00f6djer i 24 l\u00e4nder s\u00e4kerst\u00e4ller vi efterlevnad av lokal lagstiftning och ESG-rapportering, samtidigt som vi till\u00e4mpar b\u00e4sta praxis genom ett globalt tillv\u00e4gag\u00e5ngss\u00e4tt. Markf\u00f6rvaltning \u00e4r en viktig del av detta, och vi utv\u00e4rderar m\u00f6jligheter att f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra ekologin d\u00e4r det \u00e4r m\u00f6jligt.\u00a0<br><br>Vi tror att naturskydd och utbyggnad av f\u00f6rnybar energi m\u00e5ste g\u00e5 hand i hand.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Biologisk m\u00e5ngfald i praktiken: Att g\u00e5 l\u00e4ngre \u00e4n bara efterlevnad\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under 2022 samarbetade vi med en kund p\u00e5 flera av deras solkraftparker i Storbritannien f\u00f6r att proaktivt inf\u00f6ra f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttringar av den biologiska m\u00e5ngfalden, som g\u00e5r ut\u00f6ver standardpraxis f\u00f6r habitatf\u00f6rvaltning. Dessa initiativ omfattar s\u00e5dd av vildblommor, \u00e5terplantering av inhemska h\u00e4ckar, installation av f\u00e5gel- och fladdermusl\u00e5dor samt anv\u00e4ndning av milj\u00f6v\u00e4nliga ogr\u00e4sbek\u00e4mpningsmetoder.\u00a0<br><br>\u00d6vervakningsrapporter fr\u00e5n 2024 har visat p\u00e5 en rik flora och fauna p\u00e5 solparkerna, inklusive m\u00e5nga arter av fj\u00e4rilar, bin, vildblommor och h\u00e4ckande f\u00e5glar, med flera r\u00f6dlistade arter som \u00e4r av s\u00e4rskilt bevarandev\u00e4rde, s\u00e5som turturduva. Ber\u00e4kningar av den totala netto\u00f6kningen av den biologiska m\u00e5ngfalden visar att parkerna har \u00f6verskridit sitt m\u00e5l p\u00e5 10 %, vilket visar den positiva inverkan som dessa f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttringar har p\u00e5 det lokala djurlivet och milj\u00f6n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Milj\u00f6sn\u00e5lare: Omt\u00e4nkande av markf\u00f6rvaltningen p\u00e5 solkraftsparker\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marginalerna mellan solpanelerna och solparkernas gr\u00e4nser har stor potential att fungera som livsmilj\u00f6er f\u00f6r vilda djur. Med hj\u00e4lp av v\u00e5r expertis inom utnyttjande av utrymme f\u00f6r att maximera f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttringar f\u00f6r vilda djur i de projekt vi st\u00f6der har vi utvecklat v\u00e5r markf\u00f6rvaltningsstrategi och inf\u00f6rt begreppet \u201dekologiska nedsk\u00e4rningar\u201d, som nu \u00e4r v\u00e5r standardstrategi i de flesta underh\u00e5llsplaner f\u00f6r anl\u00e4ggningar. Eco-cuts-metoden begr\u00e4nsar gr\u00e4sklippningen under blomningss\u00e4songen till endast de omr\u00e5den som \u00e4r n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndiga f\u00f6r \u00e5tkomst och panelernas effektivitet, s\u00e5 att vilda blommor och naturliga livsmilj\u00f6er kan frodas p\u00e5 anl\u00e4ggningen. H\u00e4ckar trimmas p\u00e5 rotationsbasis f\u00f6r att s\u00e4kerst\u00e4lla att b\u00e4r finns tillg\u00e4ngliga f\u00f6r f\u00e5glar och pollinerare under vintern.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En solpark i Devon var en av de f\u00f6rsta platserna d\u00e4r den positiva ekologiska effekten av ekoklippning observerades. Platsen \u00e4r omgiven av mogna tr\u00e4d och har en varierad gr\u00e4smatta med ett rikt utbud av vildblommor, som alla har sk\u00f6tts noggrant. Fj\u00e4rilar syns ofta \u00f6ver hela platsen, \u00e4ven mellan raderna av solpaneler. De omr\u00e5den som l\u00e4mnades or\u00f6rda efter ekoklippningen vimlade av ryggradsl\u00f6sa djur, vilket tydligt visar de ekologiska f\u00f6rdelarna med denna markf\u00f6rvaltningsstrategi.\u00a0<br><br>I Somerset har vi samarbetat med en lokal mark\u00e4gare f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rvalta nio tunnland vildblomm\u00e4ng \u2013 genom en kontrollerad process d\u00e4r man inte klipper under vissa \u00e5rstider kan pollinerare och f\u00e5glar hitta f\u00f6da i omr\u00e5det. Ekologisk \u00f6vervakning har registrerat en rad arter, d\u00e4ribland en s\u00e4llsynt orkid\u00e9, \u00e5tta skyddade f\u00e5gelarter och ett stort antal sl\u00e4ndor, vilket visar p\u00e5 f\u00f6rdelarna med denna metod f\u00f6r det lokala omr\u00e5det.\u00a0<br><br>\u00c4ven om effekten p\u00e5 enskilda platser kan vara blygsam, \u00e4r den samlade nyttan f\u00f6r hela v\u00e5rt solenergiportf\u00f6lj betydande och vi unders\u00f6ker hur denna modell kan anpassas internationellt.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ansvarigt f\u00f6retagande\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>V\u00e5r strategi f\u00f6r biologisk m\u00e5ngfald \u00e4r en del av v\u00e5rt bredare milj\u00f6engagemang. Vi genomf\u00f6r milj\u00f6konsekvensbed\u00f6mningar i utvecklingsfasen och vidtar \u00e5tg\u00e4rder f\u00f6r att minska milj\u00f6p\u00e5verkan under hela driftscykeln.\u00a0<br><br>Vi \u00e4r certifierade enligt ISO 14001 f\u00f6r milj\u00f6ledning inom delar av v\u00e5r organisation.
