Responsible for 3GW or 10% of the UK\u2019s renewable energy generation capacity RES has also proactively carried out \u2018major works\u2019 at some of the 76 onshore wind farms or 742 turbines, 61 solar farms, 3 storage projects and 6 offshore transmission assets.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 1rem; padding: 0px; outline-width: 0px; border-width: 0px; vertical-align: baseline; font-size: 1.1rem; font-family: &quot;Bliss Light&quot;, &quot;Gill Sans&quot;, Calibri, &quot;Helvetica Neue&quot;, Arial, sans-serif; font-weight: 100; line-height: 1.6; text-align: left\">In its nomination RES was also commended for its 24\/7\/365 Control Centre based in Glasgow which provides monitoring, site access, fault escalation, emergency response and grid services for operational projects across the globe.
