{"id":35465,"date":"2025-05-15T16:36:20","date_gmt":"2025-05-15T15:36:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.res-group.com\/big-sky-solar\/"},"modified":"2025-05-28T14:00:31","modified_gmt":"2025-05-28T13:00:31","slug":"big-sky-solar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.res-group.com\/fr\/resources\/case-study\/fr\/big-sky-solar\/","title":{"rendered":"Big Sky Solar : Propulser l&#8217;Alberta vers un avenir fond\u00e9 sur les \u00e9nergies renouvelables"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Big Sky Solar est un projet de 184 MWdc en Alberta qui alimente l\u2019\u00e9quivalent de 42 000 foyers, \u00e9limine 135 000 tonnes de CO\u2082 par an et fournit une \u00e9nergie propre \u00e0 long terme, des emplois locaux et 30 millions de dollars canadiens de retomb\u00e9es pour la communaut\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3>Le d\u00e9fi :<\/h3>\n<p>L\u2019Alberta avait besoin de solutions \u00e9volutives en mati\u00e8re d&#8217;\u00e9nergie propre pour r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions, diversifier son r\u00e9seau et attirer les investissements sur un march\u00e9 domin\u00e9 par les combustibles fossiles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3>La solution :<\/h3>\n<p>RES a mis au point et construit le projet Big Sky Solar au moyen de fonds f\u00e9d\u00e9raux, d\u2019une technologie de pointe et d\u2019accords d\u2019achat d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 \u00e0 long terme, ce qui garantit la viabilit\u00e9, l\u2019int\u00e9gration au r\u00e9seau et la confiance des investisseurs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3>L\u2019impact :<\/h3>\n<p>Big Sky Solar fournit de l\u2019\u00e9nergie propre, r\u00e9duit les \u00e9missions, contribue \u00e0 l\u2019emploi local et produit 30 millions de dollars canadiens d\u2019imp\u00f4ts, favorisant ainsi la transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique de l\u2019Alberta.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-resultats-du-projet\">R\u00e9sultats du projet :<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>184 MW<\/strong> d\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire \u00e0 \u00e9missions nulles fournis au r\u00e9seau \u00e9lectrique de l\u2019Alberta<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>340 000 panneaux solaires biface <\/strong>qui maximisent la production d\u2019\u00e9nergie en captant la lumi\u00e8re des deux c\u00f4t\u00e9s.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>30 millions de dollars canadiens<\/strong> de nouvelles recettes fiscales au cours de sa dur\u00e9e de vie<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-le-defi\">Le d\u00e9fi<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le syst\u00e8me \u00e9lectrique de l\u2019Alberta, depuis toujours tributaire des combustibles fossiles, est confront\u00e9 aux n\u00e9cessit\u00e9s pressantes de diversification de son bouquet \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique, de r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre et de r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 la demande croissante d\u2019\u00e9nergie propre. La province s\u2019est impos\u00e9e comme centre n\u00e9vralgique de d\u00e9veloppement des \u00e9nergies renouvelables, dans un contexte mondial o\u00f9 les entreprises du secteur de l\u2019\u00e9nergie s\u2019efforcent de respecter leurs engagements \u00e0 atteindre la carboneutralit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toutefois, la r\u00e9alisation du potentiel solaire \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle n\u00e9cessite des investissements initiaux importants, une expertise en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9veloppement, des strat\u00e9gies solides d\u2019obtention de permis et d\u2019int\u00e9gration au r\u00e9seau, ainsi qu\u2019une trajectoire vers la viabilit\u00e9 financi\u00e8re \u00e0 long terme \u2013 autant de facteurs que de nombreux projets ne parviennent pas \u00e0 int\u00e9grer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RES a rep\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00e0 la fois une occasion et un d\u00e9fi : comment r\u00e9aliser en Alberta un projet solaire \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle qui, en plus d\u2019\u00eatre financi\u00e8rement viable, acc\u00e9l\u00e9rerait la transition de la province vers une \u00e9conomie \u00e0 faibles \u00e9missions de carbone et attirerait des investissements internationaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-la-solution\">La solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>RES a tir\u00e9 parti de sa vaste expertise en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9veloppement, d\u2019ing\u00e9nierie et de march\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 pour concevoir et livrer le projet Big Sky Solar, un parc solaire photovolta\u00efque de 184 MWcc situ\u00e9 pr\u00e8s d\u2019Acadia Valley, en Alberta. S\u2019\u00e9tendant sur pr\u00e8s de 800 acres de terres agricoles autrefois perturb\u00e9es, le projet a \u00e9t\u00e9 m\u00e9ticuleusement mis au point avec la technologie des panneaux solaires biface \u2013 environ 340\u2009000 en tout \u2013 afin de maximiser la production d\u2019\u00e9nergie en captant la lumi\u00e8re des deux c\u00f4t\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans le cadre du Programme canadien des \u00e9nergies renouvelables intelligentes et de trajectoires d\u2019\u00e9lectrification (\u00c9RITE), RES a obtenu un financement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral de 25 millions de dollars canadiens et a facilit\u00e9 la conclusion d\u2019un accord d\u2019achat d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 \u00e0 long terme qui portait sur plus des deux tiers de la production du projet, garantissant ainsi l\u2019obtention de revenus \u00e0 long terme et r\u00e9duisant l\u2019exposition \u00e0 la volatilit\u00e9 du march\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet est raccord\u00e9 au r\u00e9seau \u00e9lectrique de l\u2019Alberta par l\u2019entremise du r\u00e9seau de transport d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 de 144 kV d\u2019ATCO. De plus, il est pr\u00eat pour l\u2019avenir, con\u00e7u pour inclure une possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019int\u00e9gration du stockage de l\u2019\u00e9nergie pour am\u00e9liorer la r\u00e9silience du r\u00e9seau et contribuer \u00e0 l\u2019atteinte des objectifs de transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au d\u00e9but de 2025, RES a vendu Big Sky Solar \u00e0 TotalEnergies, l\u2019une des plus grandes soci\u00e9t\u00e9s d\u2019\u00e9nergie int\u00e9gr\u00e9e au monde. Dans le contrat de vente, TotalEnergies s\u2019est \u00e9galement engag\u00e9e \u00e0 acqu\u00e9rir d\u2019autres projets \u00e9oliens et solaires d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s par RES en Alberta, pour une capacit\u00e9 totale de plus de 800 MW, ce qui t\u00e9moigne de la confiance envers le portefeuille de projets de RES et le march\u00e9 des \u00e9nergies renouvelables de l\u2019Alberta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-l-impact-nbsp\">L\u2019impact&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le projet Big Sky Solar est entr\u00e9 en exploitation en f\u00e9vrier 2025 et procure d\u00e9sormais des avantages tangibles dans les secteurs de l\u2019environnement, de l\u2019\u00e9conomie et de l\u2019\u00e9nergie :<\/p>\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Production d\u2019\u00e9nergie propre :<\/strong> G\u00e9n\u00e8re suffisamment d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 pour alimenter l\u2019\u00e9quivalent de plus de 42 000 foyers par an.<\/li>\n<li><strong>R\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de carbone :<\/strong> Compense 135 000 tonnes d&#8217;\u00e9missions de CO\u2082 par an, ce qui \u00e9quivaut \u00e0 retirer 41 000 v\u00e9hicules de la circulation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Conformit\u00e9 r\u00e9glementaire :<\/strong> G\u00e9n\u00e8re des cr\u00e9dits de compensation carbone dans le cadre du syst\u00e8me de tarification du carbone TIER (Technology Innovation and Emissions Reduction) de l\u2019Alberta.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Apport \u00e9conomique :<\/strong> Devrait produire plus de 30 millions de dollars canadiens de recettes fiscales au cours de sa dur\u00e9e de vie, ce qui permettra de soutenir les infrastructures et les services publics locaux.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cr\u00e9ation d\u2019emplois :<\/strong> A cr\u00e9\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de 250 emplois dans le secteur de la construction et contribue aux op\u00e9rations en cours gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 jusqu\u2019\u00e0 cinq postes permanents et des contrats de service locaux suppl\u00e9mentaires.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Investissement strat\u00e9gique :<\/strong> A renforc\u00e9 le portefeuille d\u2019\u00e9nergies renouvelables de TotalEnergies en Am\u00e9rique du Nord, contribuant \u00e0 ses objectifs d\u2019atteindre 35 GW de capacit\u00e9 de production d\u2019\u00e9nergie renouvelable d\u2019ici 2025 et de produire plus de 100 TWh d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 d&#8217;ici 2030.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Signal du march\u00e9 :<\/strong> La r\u00e9ussite de la vente met en \u00e9vidence la forte demande d\u2019actifs solaires canadiens bien d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s et renforce la position de l\u2019Alberta \u00e0 titre de p\u00f4le d\u2019\u00e9nergie propre en plein essor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p>Big Sky Solar est bien plus qu\u2019un projet d\u2019\u00e9nergie renouvelable : il s\u2019agit d\u2019un mod\u00e8le de transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique collaborative \u00e0 fort impact. Le projet fait avancer le Canada sur le plan de ses objectifs d\u2019\u00e9nergie propre en alliant l&#8217;expertise de RES en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9veloppement \u00e0 la strat\u00e9gie d&#8217;investissement mondiale de TotalEnergies, tout en renfor\u00e7ant le r\u00f4le de l&#8217;Alberta dans l&#8217;avenir des \u00e9nergies \u00e0 faible teneur en
