Mai Mills, Financial Accountant au sein de l&#8217;\u00e9quipe australienne, incarne cette philosophie par son approche du d\u00e9veloppement de carri\u00e8re, de l&#8217;\u00e9quilibre entre vie professionnelle et vie priv\u00e9e et de la promotion d&#8217;une culture d&#8217;entreprise positive.<br><br>La carri\u00e8re de Mai dans la finance a \u00e9t\u00e9 fa\u00e7onn\u00e9e par sa recherche d&#8217;un lieu de travail qui valorise l&#8217;inclusion et la croissance professionnelle. Se rem\u00e9morant ses premi\u00e8res exp\u00e9riences, elle se souvient avoir travaill\u00e9 dans un environnement domin\u00e9 par les hommes, o\u00f9 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 psychologique n&#8217;\u00e9tait pas toujours pr\u00e9sente. Lorsqu&#8217;elle a d\u00e9m\u00e9nag\u00e9 \u00e0 Sydney, elle a cherch\u00e9 une organisation qui pr\u00f4nait l&#8217;\u00e9quilibre entre les hommes et les femmes aux niveaux de direction et qui encourageait le d\u00e9veloppement professionnel.<br><br>&#8220;Bien que mon sup\u00e9rieur direct soit un homme, il tenait absolument \u00e0 favoriser la croissance au sein de l&#8217;\u00e9quipe. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la formation et aux s\u00e9ances individuelles, j&#8217;ai pu d\u00e9terminer o\u00f9 je voulais \u00eatre, ce sur quoi je voulais me concentrer et ce qui me passionnait&#8221;, raconte Mai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En tant que m\u00e8re qui travaille, la routine quotidienne de Mai est un \u00e9quilibre soigneusement orchestr\u00e9 entre responsabilit\u00e9s professionnelles et personnelles. &#8220;L&#8217;eau d&#8217;abord, la conqu\u00eate ensuite&#8221;, dit-elle en soulignant l&#8217;importance de commencer la journ\u00e9e en prenant soin de soi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Des petits matins pass\u00e9s \u00e0 faire du yoga et \u00e0 boire une tasse de th\u00e9 au calme aux exigences du travail et de la famille, elle reconna\u00eet le d\u00e9fi permanent que repr\u00e9sente l&#8217;\u00e9tablissement de priorit\u00e9s. Au cours d&#8217;une p\u00e9riode de 24 heures, je dispose d&#8217;une je petite fen\u00eatre de &#8220;temps \u00e0 moi&#8221; ( ), puis suis entra\u00een\u00e9e dans un tourbillon de montagnes russes ! Je dois constamment faire des choix, et je me rappelle que mon petit ne comprendra tout simplement pas que je doive &#8220;livrer&#8221; au travail. Une communication claire sur ce qui est r\u00e9aliste est essentielle, surtout lorsque les \u00e9quipes sont surcharg\u00e9es&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour g\u00e9rer efficacement son temps, Mai segmente sa semaine \u00e0 l&#8217;aide d&#8217;une liste de t\u00e2ches structur\u00e9e. &#8220;Je filtre les priorit\u00e9s, je <strong>divise<\/strong> pour mieux <strong>r\u00e9gner<\/strong>. Nous travaillons tr\u00e8s bien ensemble, partageant les t\u00e2ches \u00e0 parts \u00e9gales lorsque c&#8217;est possible. Sur le plan professionnel, RES m&#8217;a soutenue dans ma transition vers le retour au travail&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elle attribue \u00e0 son responsable et \u00e0 son chef de service le m\u00e9rite d&#8217;avoir cultiv\u00e9 une culture de l&#8217;attention et de l&#8217;avoir soutenue tout au long de son parcours au sein de RES et jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 son retour au travail. &#8220;Le fait d&#8217;avoir un lieu de travail o\u00f9 je me sens en s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et \u00e0 l&#8217;aise pour exprimer mes pr\u00e9occupations me permet de donner le meilleur de moi-m\u00eame au travail&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mai a \u00e9galement remarqu\u00e9 une \u00e9volution des politiques sur le lieu de travail au fil des ans, , notamment en ce qui concerne l&#8217;\u00e9galit\u00e9 des cong\u00e9s parentaux (\u00e9galement propos\u00e9e par RES). &#8220;Bien que l&#8217;accent ait \u00e9t\u00e9 mis historiquement sur les m\u00e8res, ce qui a vraiment aid\u00e9 mon mari \u00e0 me soutenir, c&#8217;est que son lieu de travail offrait des cong\u00e9s parentaux \u00e9gaux et de la flexibilit\u00e9&#8221;.<br><br>Pour Mai, parvenir \u00e0 un \u00e9quilibre durable entre vie professionnelle et vie priv\u00e9e est un voyage permanent. &#8220;Acceptez l&#8217;aide lorsqu&#8217;elle vous est propos\u00e9e, prenez d&#8217;abord soin de vous, car votre tasse doit \u00eatre remplie avant de remplir celle des autres. Et prenez votre temps avant de dire &#8216;oui&#8217; \u00e0 certaines choses&#8221;. Elle insiste sur l&#8217;importance de fixer des limites, ce qu&#8217;elle aurait aim\u00e9 savoir plus t\u00f4t. &#8220;G\u00e9rez votre stress et ne laissez pas le travail affecter vos relations personnelles.<br><br>\u00c0 ce stade de sa carri\u00e8re, Mai d\u00e9finit le succ\u00e8s comme l&#8217;\u00e9quilibre entre vie professionnelle et vie priv\u00e9e et la libert\u00e9 financi\u00e8re. Tourn\u00e9e vers l&#8217;avenir, elle se passionne pour la promotion d&#8217;un meilleur soutien au retour au travail, non seulement pour les parents, mais aussi pour tous les employ\u00e9s. &#8220;Mon exp\u00e9rience personnelle m&#8217;a permis de constater \u00e0 quel point il est vital pour les dirigeants d&#8217;instaurer une culture de l&#8217;attention.
