It is predicted to deliver approximately \u00a32.2 million of inward investment to the area in the form of jobs, employment and use of local services &#8211; in addition to around \u00a312 million in business rates to Highland Council during its operational life. The wind farm would also be capable of generating low carbon renewable energy, at least cost to the consumer, for around 37,000 homes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt; line-height: 150%; font-size: 10pt; font-family: &quot;Trebuchet MS&quot;, sans-serif\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0.0001pt; line-height: 150%; font-size: 10pt; font-family: &quot;Trebuchet MS&quot;, sans-serif\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Paula Batchelor, Project Manager for RES, commented:&nbsp;<\/strong><em>\u201cWe\u2019ve been talking to the local supply chain in Caithness for some time and what we know is that there is no shortage of experienced local businesses, capable of working on projects like Cairnmore Hill. It\u2019s such a shame. RES has been a great developer to work with and in my view they\u2019ve picked a good site that\u2019s going to make the most of the wind up there.
