RES selected as Operations and Maintenance contractor for Northern Ireland wind farm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The world’s largest independent renewable energy company, RES, has been appoi<\/span>nt<\/span>ed<\/span> by ScottishPower <\/span>Renewables<\/span> to deliver O&M service<\/span>s<\/span> for <\/span>Callagheen<\/span> Wind F<\/span>arm, situated in <\/span>County Fermanagh, <\/span>Northern Ireland.<\/span> This three-year contract to provide <\/span>O&M for the 17MW site consisting of 13 Siemens turbines is another great step in bui<\/span>lding RES\u2019 relationship with S<\/span>cottishPower Renewables<\/span>.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n ScottishPower Renewables, part of the Iberdrola group, has over 40 operational wind<\/span><\/span> farms producing over 3,000 MW of clean electricity. In 2022, RES<\/span> secured an O&M contract with ScottishPower Renewables<\/span> to conduct remedial repairs on their heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) unit at the East Anglia ONE onshore substation, near Ipswich.<\/span> In 2020, RES was also awarded the EPC and O&M contracts for ScottishPower Renewables\u2019<\/span> 50MW Gorman Energy Storage project located near <\/span>Stackallan<\/span>, County Meath in the Republic of Ireland. Moreover, RES also<\/span> recently obtained a contract with Ailes Marines, who are 100% owned by Iberdrola, to deliver O&M services on the offshore substation at Saint-Brieuc offshore wind<\/span><\/span> farm in France.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Simon Deacon, Operations and Maintenance Director UK&I, said<\/span><\/span>: <\/span><\/span>\u201cThis new contract signifies a strengthening partnership between RES and ScottishPower Renewables.
