Taurbeg Wind Farm, County Cork
The Taurbeg wind farm is situated near Rockchapel Co. Cork. It received full planning permission in February 2003 . The wind farm began operating in March 2006 and is contracted to supply power to ESB under the Alternative Energy Requirement (AER VI) Power Purchase Agreement.
