Lomont Wind Farm
The Lomont wind farm project
is situated in the mountainous area called the Lomont in the Franche
Comté county of France. The project concerns several villages,
namely Vyt les belvoir, Valonne, Neuchâtel Urtière, Solemont
and Feule.
The project is developed by EOLE-RES and comprises 15 x 2 MW turbines,
resulting in an installed capacity of 30 MW.
The estimated energy to be produced by the Lomont wind farm is equivalent
to an annual saving of approximately 18,000 tonnes of CO2 and will cover
the electricity needs of nearly 25 000 people.
