King Mountain Wind Ranch, Upton County,

This site is located on
a mesa in Upton County, West Texas, some 20 miles from the Woodward Mountain Project.
Renewable Energy Systems (USA) Inc co-developed this project which has the following power purchase agreements:
 198.9MW with Reliant Energy,
76.7MW with Austin Energy
and
2.6MW with TNMP.
The 214 wind turbines connect to the grid network via four 85MVA primary
substations.
The wind ranch was completed in December 2001.
