Cuxac Wind Farm
Cuxac wind farm is situated
near the villages of Cuxac-Cabardès in the Aude approximately 15km
north of Carcassonne, France and is approximately 800m above sea level.
The project was developed by EOLE-RES and comprises 6 turbines rated
at 2.0 MW.
Energy will be exported via an underground cable connection (approximately
18km in length) to Electricité de France's Salsigne poste source
substation.
The site became operational in December 2006.
The estimated energy to be produced by Cuxac wind farm is equivalent
to an annual saving of approximately 20,000 tonnes of CO2.
