Minnygap Wind Farm
| Location | Forest of Ae, Scotland |
| Number of Turbines | 10 |
| Turbine Rating | 2 MW |
| Total expected installed capacity | 20 MW |
| Developer | RES |
In July 2009 RES applied to Dumfries and Galloway Council for consent to construct a wind farm comprising 10 wind turbines on land on Annandale Estate. The site lies to the immediate east of the Forest of Ae and spans the rolling summits of Minnygap Heights, Bog Shaw and Hangingshaw Hill. Minnygap Wind Farm will have an installed capacity of 20 MW; each turbine will be rated at 2MW and have a maximum blade tip height of 125m. This is a revised scheme and addresses the issues raised in our original proposal submitted in 2005.
