RES has developed an envied reputation for operating with load factors that set international standards and for maximising financial returns on sites it has managed.
As well as being a developer and builder of wind farms, RES plays a leading role as an owner and operator through its group company RES-Gen Ltd. The company now owns and manages a substantial and expanding portfolio of wind farms worldwide. Projects include our early wind farms at Four Burrows, Cornwall and Dyffryn Brodyn in Wales which began operating in 1994, to recent projects in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and France. In 2005, RES completed a major transaction to finance the expansion of its European generating portfolio. Project Astraeus will lead to RES owning up to 400MW of wind energy capacity in the UK, Ireland and France within the next few years.
