With its head office in Avignon in the South of France and a branch office in Besançon in the east, EOLE-RES is the result of an alliance between the French wind energy developer EOLE TECHNOLOGIE and Renewable Energy Systems. It is wholly-owned by the RES Group.

EOLE-RES is the leader in its field in mainland France with more than 120MW currently commissioned and around 80MW under construction.  Several more projects have been permitted and the company has a development portfolio of over 1000 MW, including 300 MW awaiting permit approval.
