The Role

RES are currently recruiting for a CAD design engineer to be based in our Kings Langley Head Office,

Your main responsibilities will include:-

• Contributing to various projects, including offshore wind turbine foundation interface design and biomass plant installation layouts
• Drafting work for onshore wind farms from early development through to construction

The Candidate

Candidates should have a mechanical or structural CAD background with the ability to use AutoCAD 2007 or above. Knowledge of fabrication techniques and P&IDs would also be advantageous. The ideal candidate would be able to use their own initiative to develop designs and drawings based on a range of data, targets and constraints and would also be able to demonstrate a proven track record of working as part of a busy CAD department.  We are looking for a team player who has the capacity to manage their workload effectively and work independently to demanding timescales.
