RES's expansion has kept pace with the extraordinary growth of the global wind energy industry. Companies within the RES Group have constructed more than 93 wind farms around the world, with a combined capacity of over 5GW. Of these, more than 5,400 MW has been built in North America, over 500MW in the UK and Ireland, approximately 350MW in France and the balance across the rest of Europe.  New wind farms are currently in development in the UK, Ireland, France, Switzerland, Scandinavia, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand with further market opportunities being investigated worldwide.

RES is developing a range of renewable energy technologies - wind, solar, biomass systems - over a number of different markets.  In the Mediterranean region we are applying our experience in wind to the development, construction and operation of large scale technologies such as PV and Concentrated Solar Power systems (CSP).
