WHO ARE WE?
RES is one of the world's leading renewable energy developers
RES is one of the world's leading renewable energy developers working across the globe to develop, construct and operate projects that contribute to our goal of a sustainable future.
In the three decades since RES was formed, we have played a central role in the development of the global renewable energy market and we have helped to move the sustainable energy debate from the margin to the mainstream.
We have a portfolio of low-carbon energy technologies and a range of services which together can meet demand from the industrial, public and commercial sectors on whatever scale.
Large scale renewable energy power plants
RES has been an established presence at the forefront of the
wind energy industry for over two decades. Our core activity
is the development, design, construction, financing and operation
of wind farm projects worldwide. With a portfolio of more
than 6GW constructed and several thousand megawatts under
construction and in development, RES continues to play a leading
role in what is now the world's fastest growing energy
sector.
RES is also an independent power producer. We own and operate a
growing portfolio of wind farms around the world, currently
totalling over 700MW.
RES offers the installation of solar plants utilising either Photovoltaic power (PV) or Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) in America and the Mediterranean region. We have the know-how, the resources and the project management capabilities needed to develop, construct and operate solar fields for large scale power generation connected to the grid.
RES has recently embarked on its first large-scale biomass power station developments. The 100MW project in Blyth, Northumberland, and 100/150MW Alexandra Dock project in Liverpool will generate green electricity for homes and businesses, provide 'green collar' jobs and contribute to the regeneration of the area.
RES is involved in the offshore wind, wave and tidal sector. RES Offshore offers integrated development, engineering, construction and O&M services for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
Onsite renewables
In the UK, RES offers a range of building-integrated renewable energy technologies and services for the industrial, public and commercial sectors. We are unique in our ability to deliver all the main forms of renewable energy technology (solar photovoltaic, solar thermal, biomass, wind energy) for the provision of heat and power.
RES and its specialist technology partner companies have already delivered thousands of renewable projects. From design and installation to operation and maintenance, we will design a sustainable solution for you.
